They are the same. I just did mine yesterday and installed TSS billet gears. I would be fine with stock under 600hp and 7200 RPM.

Holy crap that is such a different looking motor than what I'm used to working on. Looks like a bunch of bicycle chains hanging every where. What the deal with the oil pump gears seeing I'm looking at adding boost.

When I was younger and had more time I used to be knocking the ups driver down trying to get my parts so I could tear into my car. Now my time is so limited I thought I would be able to keep this car stock until the gt500 returns. That plan doesn't seem to be working.

OPG's are a precaution and mainly don't like higher RPM's. We pushed 2 of our stock block with OEM OPGs at 620+ RWHP and never had an issue but we didn't really rev past 7200.

Agree. I was at 585 whp and drove 33k miles on the motor with the blower with no issue. But I kept it at 7k shifts and wasn't hard on it.

33k miles. That's what I like to hear as I'm about to void the warranty on my 3 week old car. Lol

I had TVS on my 13 around 600 HP with zero issues I wouldn't be worried. I am shooting for 725-750 with this one. That's why I put the billet gears in.

Since everyone is talking about Forced Induction lately, this thread prolly needed a bump..

From what I have read it seems as though going with FI, having more than 600hp, and reving past 7k will not do your OPG any good. I've been looking for the TSS gears but everyone seems to be out of stock. Has anyone been able to find one of these lately?

Did the boss 302 come with different opg's? Just curious. I don't want to do FI but I would like to see the redline bumped out to 7500 if possible. It'll be a bit later on once the after market opens up a bit more and my warranty is closer to being up.

The Roadrunner had the same OBG as the Coyote.
