Greetings,
I have a 2017 GT350 with 2600 miles on it. No mods to affect performance and the car was serviced last with oil change at 1400 miles (motorcraft). Normally, the car has been running at about 25-30 PSI at idle and about 50-75 psi while driving. Today I went out and noticed that I was over 100 psi running and about 75 at idle. Oil level was between the dots. Has anyone experienced this change? The temp here was about 75 deg. Thanks

What was your oil temperature at the time of the reading? You don't indicate.
That (75 - 120 PSI) is normal for cold oil ( between 90 and 140 degrees), what you first listed (25 - 75PSI) is normal for hot oil, above 200 degrees.

I think I'm used to seeing the higher pressures you mentioned, but I don't watch mine that carefully. I think the lower pressures might be possible when the oil is hot, though.

The oil temp was at about ~150 and never seemed to get to the 200+ I am used to seeing. I drove for over 30 minutes with no change.

Pressure that high at idle with oil at operating temp isn't only weird, it's highly unlikely. The pump just won't push that hard in those conditions.

This same thing happened to me in my last company car, it had a bad oil pressure sensor. Try that.

You didn't get into 200s? Assuming you were in Bella Vista it was mid 80s today. You should've been into the 200s in short order. I'd be more concerned about why you're not getting above 200 on a hot summer day.

Thanks for your input! Just started it to move to another parking place and saw the same thing....75 psi at idle and it pushed over 100 psi when moving....weird cause I have never seen this before.

It's not odd for me to see 75 and just over 100 cold... take it up the highway and leave it in 5th for 15min and then come back and idle -- your temps should be up above 200 and pressure much lower

Oh, I work in the DC area and this is my summer daily driver. Temps here are about 75 after the rains. Also, when I purchased the car in AR the psi was at 25-50 at idle even at 45 deg.

Try and correlate your psi readings with oil temp. i.e. 45deg environmental temps after driving for an hour vs 75deg temps after driving for 5min... not really going to matter.. but if your oil temp is 200 in both scenarios and psi is varying greatly at idle then maybe a cause for further investigation.

Thanks, I will document the readings. It's just weird because at all temps, conditions, the psi for the oil has always been the same until today. Even Saturday, it was cooler in the am when I left for a car show and then was about 90 when we left and the psi was what I expected at idle and running, oil temp right at 200-220.

Normal oil level smack dab in the middle of the hash marks...
205*F on the dial and 204*F CHT...
Idle pressure ~40, at 80mph on interstate, ~80.
