So I recently traded in my 17 GT350 for a 2018R my old car had a spin on oil filter and the new one has the cartridge type.

On my old car the oil pressure when cold was about 120 psi and would stay around 95psi when fully warmed up at about 2500rpm and about 40psi at idle. On the new car its about 105psi cold and is about 85psi fully warmed up at about 2500 rpm and is about 35psi at idle.

I don't think there is anything wrong but was curious if those of you who have the canister style filters can verify you are seeing the same thing?

Again I don't think anything is wrong just a different tolerance and more of a observation difference between the two vehicles.

I have a late 17 with the new filter. You pressures are consistent with mine. Love the color by the way. It is the only other color combo I considered, but went with history.

Good luck. Enjoy your ride.

Mine (with cartridge) is in line with your except idle. At idle I'm just under 50 mark if not right at it.
