Just wondering if mishimoto is the only vendor making an engine oil cooler for Ecoboost?

Full Race is supposed to be releasing one as well. No idea on the timeline.

I'm using the Mishimoto thermostatic one myself.

I know the mishimoto is a great product it's just the price tag that's hurting:lol: I was just wondering if there were any alternatives? I know the car definitely needs one well at least IMO just cruising around with the heat we are getting it's 30 degrees above the coolant temp, I would hate to see how hot it will get pushing it a little:eyebulge:

Unless you are planning to autocross I don't think an oil cooler is necessary at all with the EB actually. Just my two cents though...

I missed out on a great deal on a thermostatic oil cooler, but didnt have my car yet. I live in crazy heat so anything to cool anything gives me piece of mind.

It doesn't take much to cook the oil then throw in a turbo that in stock form runs hot add the Texas heat plus some spirited driving here & there even the pricey oil will break down. The oil cooler should have come factory, they do on the GT'S anyhow the vehicle produces a lot of heat in stock form now throw in a tune with aftermarket goodies. The oil cooler is the next upgrade I was just seeing if there were different options

You can really build your own oil cooler. I can get you a thermostatic oil filter adapter, and sell you all the fittings and lines to run a Setrab oil cooler. Setrab is the highest quality oil cooler on the market!

I once test drove an '09 370z 4 years ago, preowned with 15k miles. Keep in mind this was when they didn't have oil coolers.

For the Jersey folks, it was DCH Nissan and I took the Jug handle by Exxon and Freehold BMW towards the mall to get back to Nissan (Short little trip)

Around the 2nd light by the other Jug Handle, car went into limp mode where it wouldn't go past 4k rpm's. The guy and I were both like "WTF?" and I had to keep it in either 2nd or 3rd to get it back

I don't plan on getting it Asap, but It is part of the plans

Exactly what i was thinking. Just a sandwich plate some AN fittings and hoses then make a nice little bracket to hang the oil cooler and tour gtg:headbang:
I plan to do this in the near future.

Thanks for the interest in our oil cooler setup! The stock Mustang EB does not include a factory oil cooler, which can be a bit of a problem for those looking to track the car. For street driving, the lower temperatures provided by a liquid-to-air cooler can provide some peace-of-mind, especially in warmer climates. Have you check with any of our vendors for pricing information? They will typically be able to provide the best pricing for our kits.

Let me know if I can help out!

Thanks! Any feedback on the kit thus far?

Thanks Anthony!
