I know its probably been beaten with a dead horse but I have no clue if this amount of oil thats being caught in my oil catch can is acceptable and warranty time is coming up soon.

So for a little bit of back story, my cars first oil change was didnt go very well and what ended up happening to my car was the oil filter vibrated loose (due to the dealership not torquing the filter properly) and i lost around 6 quarts of oil on the highway.

My cars been doing an oil consumption report with Ford reporting things are normal at a rate of 1Q per 1200KMS (worst recorded was 3Q in 3000KMS).

This week I installed two new JLT catch cans on the car and have been driving around with normal driving no track racing (odd underload higher revs) and have noticed some oil being caught in only the passenger side catch can.

Any forum experts willing to chime in and see if i should be pressing the issue harder with ford or am I acting too paranoid with my car?

thanks folks

Passenger side oil is normal. People that have installed drivers side never really find oil. For that reason, most only install passenger side catch cans. I don't install drivers side for that reason.

What kind of 60 mile drive? Yes, I would say it's fine.

Pretty light driving...I’d say most of it cruising highway speeds with no high rpm pulls that I can recall
