offset /spacers/wheels

All, so I am looking at getting some sweet matte black Forgestar CF5 wheels, still undecided on which tires to go with it. Going to go with the staggered look. Only thing is I have no idea what I am actually doing and don't know anything about buying wheels and if I need spacers or not.
