I think tou meant 0603 for the buttons. The unit always has power. It's either replace them, or tap into a keyed fuse.0608 for the AC and On/Off button. The next size up for the toggles. I was able to use the 0608 LEDs on the toggle section, they're just smaller and harder to work with.
So, back to my question and thanks for answering my noob wiring questions. If I tapped into 12v within the unit itself, the LED strip would turn on when the unit is on, correct? It wouldn't just stay on...I would think.
