Official GT350 Track Attack Attendance Thread

For those of you who have been to Track Attack the last few weeks - what was the mask requirement? I can't see how wearing a helmet with a mask would be enjoyable.

I'm really looking forward to being there and enjoying the whole experience!

Mid March they were pretty cool about it. Masks in class and close groups but you won’t be wearing them in the car, certainly not with your helmet.

I was there mid-April. IMO they handled the mask issue very well. It won’t be an issue (no matter what side of the mask debate you are on) and you will have a great time!

Outside of your car you can wear a mask or use your balaclava/head sock. The only way for it to distract is to intentionally focus on it. It's all seamless.

Excited that I am going this week! Difficulty sleeping as I am packing in the time watching onboard cameras on YouTube to get acquainted with the track!

I had an issue with zero oil pressure in the number 11 car last March 23rd. Out of curiosity I tried to speak to someone a couple days later to find out what happened but never got a call back.
If someone remembers, can you please ask what happened to that car that day.

It was the last session, the fastest session when it went. Probably had only 3-4 laps left for the day. So no.

Starting my drive down there this morning. Will get there tomorrow afternoon early, and check out the garage. Wife and I are making it a mini vacation. Can't wait.

Been working on my OOO message for this coming week - all images. I think they'll get it.

Was at the racing school today for a preview of tomorrow's event. Looked around the garage at all the GT350 and 500's. Then went to the back of the track to watch some of the GT500 class going around the track.
Then they had the reception dinner at the Speedway club overlooking the track. There were a couple of Nascar cars doing practice laps.
