I think the knob actually looks pretty nice. Very clearly not what you wanted and ordered however, especially on the pattern. Not a bad knob though, I'd rock it if I had zero expectations on what the design should have been.

Good luck with refund and all that. I've somehow gotten lucky with Flossy the 2 times I've gotten knobs from them.

if you want a heavy knob, and don't have some super specific request - flossy is fine. also note you will wait 3weeks+ for your knob.


if you have something super custom - flossy is bad.

no vendor out there competes with flossy - thus leaving us to only order from them until others step up and do what flossy does but with better customer service.

Its strange, the art looks good in pictures. But bc the knob is stock size == pretty small diameter, the art looks way worse in person. My gf couldn't even tell what I ordered.

I ordered my second knob from Flossy. First one was ordered on a Sunday and received it that Wednesday. That was for my 13. I don't know maybe he doesn't keep any machined for the 15 bc of the size of the reverse lockout maybe. The one for my 13 he had ready to go just needing engraving and my design was easy. I ordered the new one Aug 25th still hasn't shipped. I check in every few days he recently said before the holiday weekend or was going in for coating and should ship Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Nothing yet though.

Mine shipped 7 days after he told me it just came out of coating and was ready. he is pretty fucking awful, really wish he had a competitor. wish I could buy his business from him and run it so much better than he ever could XD

Got a few days in on the boomba before I headed out to Brazil. Size is a little small for my liking, but the weight feels great. The MGW is being installed now, can't wait to try it out!

How long did the lathewerks knob take to be delivered?

That may sway me with them over flossy because i'm very impatient haha.

I went with Lathewerks and was super impressed/happy. Responded really well, made the exact custom order I requested, and it came really fast. And it's only the owner that runs the place. I honestly think he's a pretty solid competitor to Flossy, his products are just a bit more industrial. I'm sure he can do other things though, if asked.

The Lathewerks is my favourite so far. Reminds me on the Type R shift knob I had on my Honda before. So my hand is already heat resistent With a metal shift knob.

To the boss floods one. Started a PayPal claim tonight. First step is communicating to him through a PayPal tracked message. If he doesn't respond tomorrow just going to get PayPal involved. I don't care anymore at this point I just want my money back just out of principle. I feel like he must of lied last Friday when he said it was out of coating and the image just needed to be etched. What was the point of him telling me it would ship by Tuesday or Wednesday if he did not plan on it happening? I have checked for updates this whole time. Did he think I wouldn't expect tracking information lol?
