Off with the stripes - Mach 1 graphics removed

Oh lordy, not this again. It is not an Explorer chassis and the S650 will use a modified S550 platform.

Prob a dumb question, but this is something you probably need to have a professional body shop do for you, right? Or at least a detailer or something? I wouldn't expect these stripes to come off THAT easily.

Much cleaner without the stripes. I will remove the stripes as well. I don't understand why Ford doesn't offer the Mach 1 without stripes from the factory. They would even save money...

I'm certainly no expert on modern car manufacturing processes, but I imagine that adding forks to the assembly process isn't free, even for something as simple as this.

In Ford's eyes as well as many of its owners a Mach 1 isn't a Mach 1 unless it has stripes. For those who do not want them it's easy enough to remove them.

I finally had the stripes taken off. It was one of the things I hated about the car. Also changed the wheels and exhaust

I've said from thebeginning that I hated the hood stickers. Your car looks very clean and much better IMO. Heck, I just saw the 2022 Jeep Compass reveal and they have a very similar sticker in the middle of its hood. Ewww.

Totally in for a no stripe option for some of us that drive wwwaaaayyyy too fast all the time and need to be as discrete and low key as possible in traffic...

I am all in for stripes/stickers. That is one of the things I liked best about my 65-70 Mustangs; GT, Shelby, Boss 302, Mach 1, Saleen. The stripes/decals is what set them apart visually. It is a personal opinion for all that like or don't like it, but it is Mustang heritage!!! I have had approx 25 Mustangs and most, and my favorites, have had stripes/stickers, some that didn't I added, like my 04 Cobra.

On the other hand you have those that love the car for what it is mechanically. A 480HP beast with a Tremec and track ready coolers and suspension. All the M1 specific graphics are meaningless to them. Same boat, different ocean.
