OEM Touchscreen SATNAV instal for V6 possible?

I was wondering if by purchasing a full kit (See above link*), would it be a 'plug and play' installation for our Sixers? Is all the wiring good to go?

I've tried talking to a ford service representative earlier about said question and had no luck in finding this answer...Would be nice to swap the stock V6 setup for a premium one. Thoughts, comments?

It's an interesting topic, but with what Ford is doing now (trying to make Eco look better than a V6, on a side note, not trying hard enough as Eco customers either go with a GT due to not much more they have to pay to get a better trim, or they trade in for GT and if it keeps going that way, and Eco won't get enough sales there would be a slight chance Ford would quit the Eco and just leave it as it was V6 and V8, but I doubt that will ever happen) I doubt any officials will comment on that. It's all matter of waiting, and there will be someone out there brave enough to do it them selves, and the rest will follow. I am interested my self if it is possible.

I would pay $800 for a complete plug and play upgraded set up. Imagine the V6 with nice touchscreen, maybe a turbo or a supercharger add on down the line..The 4-banger would be obsolete then.

I suspect you would need some help from a dealer because of the CAN Bus system and even then it might not be possible since there isn't an factory option for the V6 with that radio.

An official Procharger system is already well in the works for the V6 models. If I recall correctly, they already have it built and working on a 2015 3.7 model but tuning has been giving them hell since the start since tunes for the V6 are practically non-existent (big surprise there )

And I know working turbo kits for the current 3.7 engines are out there but I haven't seen any yet. (Probably a tuning issue aswell)

Don't really know if that would make the EB obsolete per say, but it would give the V6's a better run against them and some GT's, which could always be fun.

And to answer your original question, I'd think all the necessary wiring would already be there since its OEM. Its a matter if Sync would still work afterwards I'd assume
