If you're entertaining the Idea of Duralast or CarQuest, then you'd be better served looking at the PowerStop Z23/Z26. There's a reason that so many people around here run them, they're that good for a street pad. Plus, virtually no brake dust.

The 26's don't dust, but they don't stop like the stock pads either.

If it were me I'd find a set of semi-metallic and pop them on the car until I can get the stock pads.

Good afternoon, where are you guys getting your brake pads from? I plan to replace mine and I am at 80,000 miles on the originals. I have contacted several online Ford parts dealers and they are on back order with no ETA. The local dealers want $125 so that is an option just looking for better pricing but not sure they can get them either. Part # is FR3Z-2001-Q. I am not interested in aftermarket. Thanks, Rich
BRF1955 I show 7 available in my warehouse, no issue getting them. It is the direct replacement pad for the FR3Z-2001-Q Its available everywhere.

Ok cool, was looking for the part # FR3Z-2001-Q and they are not available everywhere, I checked with more than five dealers. You can order them but they will cancel your order. So can you include a link to order those pads please. Thanks

So many better options.
What is a better option? I have searched through these forums and many Google searches and the consensus has been the OEM pads are very good, some recommend the power stop and then others state they do not feel right. I know my pads work on every stop and have lasted a long time.

Most recommend not buying from Amazon due to fakes and I ended up with fake spark plugs for our sons car then I immediately swapped out my plugs I bought both from Ebay. All these stories about buying fakes then returning to parts store. Then a few mentioned Rock Auto and fakes but I have not experienced that and been ordering from them for many years.

I trust Amazon more than Ebay, at least with Amazon I know I can return them.

I would buy from Rock Auto, and looks like they have them in stock.
