A bit if cross-post here, but has anyone Plasti Dipped the OEM 18"s? While I wait for $ to buy black 19"s, I'm considering blacking out what I have with glossifier on top. Thanks!

I don't do anything so boring as ruining perfectly good silver wheels for black, ;) but you can plasti-dip anything you have a mind too. Just wear a painter's mask with activated charcoal!

I have '19 EB/PP wheels (almost black, kinda looks PP2) and new condition '19 GT/PP1 wheels looking for new homes.

Not in my car, but I plastidiped the wheels of my truck. It was easy to apply. The best thing about it is that it is easy to touch up or remove if you don't like the outcome.

I dipped my stock 17" base wheels with Plasti Dip and turned out fine. I tried with the gloss black Plasti Dip and it just dripped really bad. I think in that picture that's powder coating. Unless you take the wheels off and are spraying them laying flat I don't recommend doing the gloss Plasti Dip. And ya, def wear a mask lol.
