Anyone have any experience with plasti dip? Looks easy enough to apply. Curious about durability and removal. Really think the 5.0 emblems will look better black (leaving the red in the period) on a CO/PP car and maybe the same with the GT emblem on the back.

my brother in law dipped his sn95 twice and it seems to hold up well. He bought the spray gun so that definitely helps to do a whole car. Removal is easy.

I've used it on my previous vehicle. It's not easy to clean...it's actually easier to just respray the area it's used on when it gets dirty. It's somewhat durable, I've rubbed it up against branches in the woods (it was on my Jeep) and stayed on.

I definitely put it to the test in the mud and out wheeling my Jeep. I honestly don't see a reason to not dip your emblems as long as you're not getting the car ridiculously dirty.

As long as you put enough coats on, it will peel right off. Too few and it will come off it pieces.

I did the wheels and badges on my FR -S. It has lasted 2 summers so far with only 1 small touch-up.
