Headers are on after working on it for just over 3 hours, but hit a few snags so going to finish it tomorrow night. Broke the damn AC line (we should have just removed it we tried gently bending it like I did to my 13 but it cracked, lost one header nut somewhere in the car or shop, passenger O2 won't reach it plugs into the main harness up by the injectors and I don't have extensions. I gotta go get a nut because no bolts with my headers and I would rather use the studs anyway.
I have 3 nuts left to tighten on the drivers side, connect the lead pipes and fake cats, lengthen the O2 wires and I'm going to try to find aluminum solder so can fix the little crack in my AC line. Headers fit fine tons of room at the steering shaft and everywhere else. They do hang down a bit but not terrible and I'm only concerned because I'm lowered and scrape once in a while. These are bigger than my old pypes and it did make it a little harder to install but they honestly fit better than the pypes (my drivers side pypes was slightly crooked on my 13 which meant the ball and socket didn't line up well)

AC line is getting fixed today which is great because it's 107* heat indexes right now here. $20 to have a local company solder the aluminum tube and then I gotta recharge the AC, bolt the mid pipes on and lengthen the O2 sensor wires and drive it to my muffler shop to have it welded to my catback because there is no bolt on solution for me here because of my custom catback that removed the factory connect.

After 4.5 hours total it's done and my AC works better now it's a little colder which is great. It's open headers with just the mini bullets on. It sounds decent considering do those little bullets definitely help control sound quite a bit for their size. Catback gets welded on tomorrow morning at 8:00. I'll post a video up once it's all done.

So the obx don't come with extensions, bolts or mid pipes?

With the mbrp, I couldn't use the studs in certain spots.

How's the clearance with the firewall tunnel?

I used OBX products while I was in the Import crowd and a broke college student. I had one of their LSD essentially blow up inside my transmission case at around 8,200 rpm. it was less than awesome. I went cheap and saved $300 and ended up spending several thousand to put the transmission back together with an Mfactory LSD. That Mfactory unit was a beast. I had other buddies use the OBX suspension, exhaust etc. At the beginning things were always fine but eventually factory welds failed and stuff that shouldn't break, broke. I swore them off and try to stick to the industry leaders on parts.

No bolts no extensions. It has complete mid pipes in a 3" performance connect. It would not bolt to the stock catback.

Please don't forget about the video, would like to see how it sounds
I will when the roads dry it's currently raining. It's dead quiet at cruise no drone at all. I haven't done much more than half throttle an 4000 rpms though because it started to rain on my way home from the muffler shop. Half throttle and 4000 was loud but not bad considering. There is no "header rasp" (the tinny metallic sound often heard with thin wall headers). My pypes had pretty decent amounts of header rasp. The "fake cat" resonators definitely control the sound quite a bit. My 2013 had pypes LTs, catless X and GT500 axle back with no mid resonators and as much as I liked the GT500s I think this setup is not only quieter at cruise but smoother and less mid rpm mid throttle rasp.
Tack welded into place before being fully welded to my X pipe. Rear clamps are not tightened down yet either here they are tucked up nicely no bolts hanging down below my exhaust to drag.

Are this obx headers basically the same as tsp ones? I read the wall on the tsp were a litle bit thicker but they look the same in pictures. Just wondering because it would make it even quieter than the obx if is it real but i don't think so. Waiting on that video sir to hear it , most likely will get mines next week , i have an mbrp race catcback with fa tory conection so most likely will need to cut it and welded to the headers because they 3", plus i wouldn't like to have that bottleneck

They look the same to me other than the connect style and the fake cats being hollow instead of glass packs like mine. Danielle will have to measure the thickness of hers I guess lol. They are definitely thicker than my pypes and the all welds look fine to me. No leaks. Honestly if I put another resonator or muffler on the rear it would be stock exhaust quiet the only time you hear the headers is at heavy throttle above 3000 or so. I'm happy with it.

looks like 2mm to me. they definitely aren't like... thin and tinny like other headers I've had, they're pretty substantial.

(i'm also waiting for your video, it's been 5 hours)

Roads were wet and I haven't taken it back out since but I'll get it. I'll have my wife hold the phone to record it while I drive by. I wish I had a decent video camera but my iPhone 6S plus will have to do.
