OBD II Readiness Monitors Scanner/Tool

Hoping this post is in the correct location!

Can anyone recommend or link me to an OBD II readiness monitors scanner device? I threw a P0420 code due to my high flow cats and cleared the check engine light, but I am worried that my monitors will read, "not ready" and I will fail inspection.

The car has been reflashed/retuned twice since then, and I have drive the car multiple miles. The CEL has not returned since I cleared the code with my SCT x4.

As of now, I am running a 93 Bama Race tune. I am not running MIL eliminators or non-foulers.

A link and any tips would be very helpful! My New York State inspection is in February, but I want to get this sorted out before the weather is freezing and before there is snow on the ground.

Do you use an Android phone? If so you could download Torque Pro for like 5 bucks. Purchase an OBD bluetooth adapter, they vary greatly in price and quality. I got one a couple of years back and it still works great. It was under 20 bucks on Amazon. Torque offers readiness info, drive cycle info, monitoring and even data logging.

I use the torque app on my android phone. It's really a great app especially for monitoring your emission readiness codes.

I believe Torque is available in the Apple store but it costs a bit more. Something closer to $50. Might be able to find another app that is just as highly rated but not sure it is not my platform. It would still talk to the same Bluetooth adapter.

Any reccomendations for an adapter? I found a few on amazon with good ratings, but seeing what you prefer.

I'm sure any bluetooth adapter will do the trick.

Get a good one. The cheap blue ones you see on eBay are hit and miss.

I got this one. Definitely one of the least expensive ones I have seen out there but no issues and it shows I bought it in 2012.

First, I currently have Harry's Lap Timer (Grand Prix edition), but use only the basic functionality. I was thinking of adding an OBD reader that would work with the Lap Timer as well as a decent iPhone app to use as an OBD interface.

So far, it looks like the GoPoint BT1 is a decent scanner that is recommended both by Harry's and by an app called "Dash Command" (which looks pretty full featured).

I used the trial version of Dash Command and Torque before I purchase the full version of Torque. I thought DC's interface and layout looked better but I preferred the function of Torque. It might have been available in DC but Torque also has special Ford PIDs that I did not see in DC. I also found the formula for knock in Torque since it always the user to create PIDs. Very useful in my opinion.
