Most of us who want to run the pump "manually" just start the engine, put the trans in neutral and release the clutch. Or you can do it the way HB suggests, although you'll need two helpers - one to hold the clutch pedal down and the other to keep the other rear tire from turning.
My way has the benefit of substituting for a gym day hehe

Forgive my naivety but there is a way to manually run the pump?
I wonder if he meant the diff pump....? There have been some discussions surrounding using Forscan, but not sure if it can do it. I thought someone said a Ford tool could manually start the diff pump so it seems like Forscan could.

Some of the pioneers that tried/did implement a diff cooling solution on 2015/16 tech cars would probably know. @rb92gt, @jwb, @kgschrader?

Sorry if the diff pump wasn't your question.

The latest version of Forscan can take control of ECU PID "R_DIFF_PUMP" and switch the pump on and off. Ford's IDS system has always been able to do this, but it's relatively new for it to work properly on Forscan.

Little off topic, but my tranny always runs cooler than my diff. Is this normal?
Yes, Normal for 17-up GT350's
If you have a 2016 'Base' or 'Tech Pack'(No coolers), the transmission will run 10-15 degrees warmer than the diff.
