I'm going through some old family photos and found a 1964 pic that includes a car I am having trouble identifying. Anybody really know 60s sports cars?

Google image search says:
This car is a Hillman Minx Convertible, a classic British vehicle produced by the Rootes Group between approximately 1956 and 1963. It is part of the "Audax" series, which was designed with assistance from Raymond Loewy's studio to evoke the style of 1950s American cars on a smaller scale.
Bring a Trailer +1
The specific model in the photo appears to be from the late 1950s or early 1960s, such as a 1958 or 1959 Hillman Minx Series II or III. It is identifiable by its distinctive vertical taillights and the configuration of its three-position convertible top

The rear fenders don't look right. That one has a little bit of tail fin going on at the rear lights. Thr OPs picture the fenders are smooth and rounded there. It could be a difference in model years i guess. I don't know enough to say.
