thats the plan. Im gonna retrofit the New steering column and probably do, exhaust and shifter on my car. And just keep it running...

Shouldn't be any difference in steering feel from a 15-17PP and 18+PP. If anything, the 18+ will be better since it has significantly better tires.


Also, the S197s have pickup truck interiors so I'd tell your friend to jog on. Also has a truck axle, so....


I do not miss DD'ing with a solid rear axle.

Pickup truck interiors these days have gotten really nice. Have you seen an F150 interior from the Platinum package lately? Wowzas!
Besides, you are blowing the whole solid rear axle thing out of proportion. Both of my vehicles have a solid rear axle. One of those vehicles also has a solid front axle. They both ride comfortably, even though one is lowered and one is lifted.

Must suck not to have had your car for several months eh?

My MY17 GT has plenty of soul - best car I’ve ever owned - and with the Ford Racing QUAD exhaust it almost talks to me as I drive it through various modes like burbling along at low speeds then letting it rip to the red line and of course with its Pedder Coilovers it handles like a true sports car - thanks America you’ve made a Brit very happy with this superfluous vehicle
