No Crossover pipe

So while I changed my oil for the first time I noticed that I don’t have a crossover pipe. I bought the car used. The mid reso was removed and two straight pieces of pipe were welded in. I’m gonna fix this by getting a x or h section to put in...


Other than being not ideal for flow... should I be concerned lol ?

It sounds pretty decent but I figure having some sort of crossover point would be more ideal.. it’s completely stock other the exhaust work.. may get a x section to put in..


I guess it’s better than having the resonator on there still lol.

Yeah - put a proper H or X on there. The crossover is beneficial in balancing exhaust flow/reducing restriction.

“True duals” are a thing for 90’s pickup trucks and garbage for performance.

Previous owner may have had an x-h pipe on and removed to sell or install on the new car??

There’s really no telling what transpired for it to end up like this..

Likely could of just had the mindset that they wanted true duals and/or just wanted the resonator removed in the cheapest way possible.
