Dumb question.. anyone with the Nite Pony black accent package change their black wheels to a more traditional silver or graphite color wheel? Accents include black badges, black roof, blacked out grill etc. I have no aesthetic sense for this stuff.. black wheels are not my favorite but if silver tone wheels would look weird with the black roof i'll probably stick with them when I change to 19x10's.

I don’t think it would look silly with the black roof. It’s all personal preference really. Chrome wheels might look a little off, but a gunmetal or darker gray color would look fine I would think.

I personally like black wheels with Grabber Blue but that’s just my taste. But I think there’s enough body color between the roof and wheels that a non-black wheel would look fine. There might be some examples in the Grabber Blue and Grabber Blue Metallic threads as well.

Yeah. I've been trying to search through the forums but it's tough finding anything. Thanks for your input!

I created my own black out package by blacking the badges. Mine had the black PP wheels and I went gunmetal and love it. Here is mine originally and afterward

Thanks all. I will keep looking. I do like those dark grey PP2 wheels from that thread, MAGS1.

This pic, along with helpful advice here, convinced me to order the SVE SP2 in graphite. Bottom one is SVE, plenty dark enough but not so dark that you can’t make out the details of the wheel design. They’ll be sitting in my garage till spring when I’ll get some 275/40 PS4S to replace the 255 stock Pirelli AS tires.

Depending on lighting they can look black or grey as other people noted. Ceramic coated them with 2 coats of Cquartz UK and they're going back in the box till i buy my PS4S tires, maybe spring or early summer. Very pleased with the finish overall and they're very light weight for being so chunky.

For sure. Im a big fan of the black roof as well especially on Grabber Blue, just not a fan of the black wheels. Hard to make them out from a distance and they blend in with tires too well.
