Apex VS-5RS - they look awesome and are only 20.4lbs. I shaved about 13lbs per corner of stock. They look great and make the car much more nimble on both street and track.

Posted this pick a while back and caught a little grief. I like the GT wheels, but they're not available with a stagger setup.

The only issue there is being over the curb. I get anxious whenever I am near tall curbs. Maybe just me, I don't know.

They're pricey compared to flow formed wheels but the VS-5RS wheels are fully forged and 1/2 the price of other forged wheels. I was also looking at GS1R's, which are the same weight but $7200. At $3700 for a fully forged wheel, the Apex Sprint series wheels are a steal. I bought them primarily for weight reduction for track use. If you're just using them for the street, I would get a good set of flow formed wheels, which come in at 1/2 the price of the forged wheels but weigh quite a bit more. Apex flow formed wheels were 24lbs - lighter than stock but not nearly as light as the VS5RS. For reducing unsprung weight, the Apex wheels are as light as you can get for a decent forged wheel price.

Besides who cares what others think. You do you, George!! :like:
I'm back to the PP1 wheels again. The fittment was just to see if I liked them, and I do. Still looking for something similar.

That’s why I almost always back in. If I’m that guy, so be it. The front of these cars is so long it’s impossible to see the curb.

Assuming your seat is setup like mine, pull forward till just shy of curb becoming visible below side mirror. Flavor to suit.

Didn't your grandpa hang a tennis ball from the garage rafters and once it hit the windshield you had pulled in far enough? Same idea.

Good tip, I have my seat dropped all the way down and I’d say it’s about half way back or so (I’m 6’1” for reference).

Yeah my dad used to have tennis balls hanging in the garage to know where to stop. I have padding on my garage wall where my door opens up so that’s my indicator that I’m back far enough when I back into my garage.

Come on people, it's not like he's getting paid to do your work for you. (although he probably should be)

One thing you have to decide is how much you want your wheels to stand out. Some of the options suggested mesh well with a more production look and something like these will draw instant attention.

I am looking for the attention I'm older and love my car , but mostly only go to car shows, never been tracked. I want something to draw the eye to the car so you're right in your thinking. Thanks
