I’m thinking about purchasing an HPTuners branded nguage and i’m trying to figure out if i can get Lund to unlock it. The guy is the original owner of it. Thanks

I would email Lund and ask them directly. [email protected]

If it is a "Lund" Nguage I think he can unlock it. Not sure if he can change firm ware on an HPtuners version.

I’ve read on multiple forums that they’ve started unlocking the HPTuners ones too but wanted to see what you guys had to say as well

It will be interesting to see what they have to say. They may unlock if you are buying a tune from them. I've always wondered how it works if you want to buy one just to use the guages, ie boost, IATs, etc

I personally would like to use it with a tune but if i’m not mistaken it’s still useable for gauges etc by just plugging it in but i’m not 100% on that

I was thinking the same....but I notice that most that are selling, are asking the price that you would pay for a tuner. Please let us know what they have to say.....especially if there is a price to unlock it to load their tunes....if they are still even doing this.

Looks like no luck from Lund. I bought the damn thing for no reason it seems. Any ideas from anybody? Open to all

HP can't even unlock them.

i would get a used Lund one even if it’s locked. Lund can unlock it
I bought mine used for 150 and Lund unlocked it
