I am looking into buying a used ngauge tuner that is no longer married to a car. my question is will this already have a usable tune (same mods, same year) or will i need to call lund and purchase a $250 tune for it to work on my car:shrug:

A used ngauge is not going to have usable tune. You will have to purchase a tune from one of the many tuners.
