I have this setup, the Corsa sports with headers. It's doable around town (got some volume still though, no doubt about that), although still pretty damn loud at WOT and high RPMs.
I had the exact same issue on my 2017. Same codes and everything, ended up being the IMRC runners. Got my 18 manifold from LMR and had it ported through 1320 Junkie. Very happy with the result. Also did the lockout kit to prevent it from happening again.
Just as a starting disclaimer: This is 100% for fun for me, I'm not serious about it and my car isn't set up for it in the slightest. With that being said, I still do wanna try my best. (1/8th mile btw)
2017 GT PP. I'm on summer street tires, only suspension mod is lowering springs, and it's...

I don't have a 2018+, but if you guys are ever looking for a 2015-2017 car in the future, feel free to check me out on Instagram @ferocious5oh
I post lots of high-quality pics of the front end in which the Big Mouth would frequently be showcased.
With headers, 100% go with the sports. Still pretty damn loud but not OVERLY loud like Xtreme. I had Xtreme with stock headers, it's the perfect exhaust. With headers, it's honestly just too loud.
I have a couple ideas, but am looking for suggestions on the best way to fix exhaust leaks. I have deemed it to be coming from the connection between the header connection pipe (not sure what exactly it's called) and the midpipe. I tested it using the soapy water method. Have tried re-seating...
I had the same problem with the intake manifold at around the same mileage. I also had a clutch failure deemed to be a mechanical failure in which the clutch, flywheel, and bearings were all affected and needed to be replaced. Long story short dealership screwed me over even though Ford said...
Totally agree, mine feels honestly not great until the car warms up. And the transmission and clutch don't ever feel 100% unless I do a pull, which usually I don't do during normal driving.
An X pipe, like on the Corsa, will give you a higher pitch sound and more rasp. An H pipe will give you a lower pitch sound and more "classic muscle car sound" with less rasp.
