I hate starting a thread just to get one question answered, but here goes. The 2018 GT base model has a dash display showing oil pressure low/normal/high. I want to be able to read actual pressure.

Will an Ngauge show Oil Pressure "PSI" for the base model 2018 GT?

I would imagine it does. I can see it on my ngauge. A performance package gauge cluster can be installed on a base model.

Ok, hold on. You said you can "imagine"? Do you have a base model GT with no Performance Pack? Does it show actual oil PSI or not?

I'm confused by your response.

I was implying that it should show regardless of it being a base model or performance package. The Ngauge shows actual psi. I do have a performance package.

OK, now I understand. Your performance package has a pressure sender that also sends the signal to the gauge on the dash. However, I don't know if the base model has the same kind of pressure sender. Even if it is the same sender, the PCM uses the signal for a low/medium/high reading only. That's why I was asking if anyone knows EXACTLY what is shown for the base model using an Ngauge..

Based on that, base and performance package have different sending units. Sorry for misinformation.

Hey, everyone.
I was wondering if anyone had any luck with this? I have a base 16’ GT and the nguage does not read oil pressure in PSI. Any work around this?

Thanks in advance,
X
