Just got my 10r80 and my ngauge wont read my car. It says “Make sure key is on” And then says no vehicle was detected. I tried using a different cable and it still didn’t work. Tried the gauge on my truck and same thing. But the day before i put the Jlt intake on my car the gauge was working and read my codes now that i’m getting my E tune it doesn’t read it. HELP!!

You're "getting" your E tune? Or you have it and it's loaded onto the NGauge?

Reading diagnostic codes is one thing.

Connecting to the ECU and making changes to the programming is another.

I'm guessing your NGauge has to be programmed by your tuner for your car's ECU. Has that happened yet?

Did you start fresh with the micro sd card? if not I suggest you wipe it and reflash the latest firmware. If you did all that test with a new cable

I havent done working that but would that make me have to buy credits again or something? I tried a new cable and still didn’t work even tried the gauge on my other car and truck and it would say the same thing.

whos your tuner? When I had Lund NGauge I was having issues similar to yours and I reflash the firmware and all was good. I believe that the credits are tide to the serial #.

Delete everything thats on the micro SD and download the recovery 3.26FW. Its all the way in the bottom called

https://support.lundracing.com/hc/en-us/articles/216668298-Lund-Racing-nGauge-Recovery-Files-FW326-

I’m barley getting E85. My car ngauge wont read my car at all. Tried so many times and then one time It worked and I was able to get the 91 tune but it says once i got it it said turn vehicle off for 10 second and turn back on and the car wouldn’t even crank so i had to jump start and it turned on. Now that it’s on i’m trying to data log but it won’t read any coms.

So lund told me that if the wrong firmware was on the car then I wouldn’t have been able to get the 91 tune. I have 91 tune right now but when I try to datalog it it doesn’t read any coms.

Aside from the obvious firmware mentions, there was another M6G member on here that was also experiencing nguage issues. He eventually found that the wire that goes to the back side of the gauge was faulty which was causing a disconnect with it communicating with the vehicle.

IIRC, he described it as the harness with the white connector and it had something to do with the actual pins inside of that connector. Once he fixed it, the gauge was communicating properly and was operational again.

Just throwing it out there as a possibility.

Was this resolved?
I'm having the nGauge won't connect and the nGauge has been married to my Stang for years but now no joy.
