This car was mostly driven like a grandmother by my wife. I have no interest in automatic transmissions as I though I would when buying this auto car. I'm looking to rid this car, get my wife a new car suitable for her work duties and potentially get me a toy again with a manual transmission...
Just press TUNING then press LOAD TUNE but im curious why a shop is telling you this if you went there with the tune loaded . There should be no reason unless they flashed the PCM and the tune is gone. If so then your device will be locked out if they flashed over it with a IDS tool . If it does...
You are also using the wrong config file for logging. It needs to be the R12 not R7 file. Firmware has to be 326 on Gen 3 cars and if that doesnt work its usually the cable. I know you said you tried a friends cable so its odd.
Is it telling you it couldnt initialize communications with vehicle? If so then its a cable issue. Email my personal email at [email protected] if you need a cable
Be careful of what you buy . I have tested multiple cables from Amazon and Ebay and they did not work. Some read gauges but did not load a tune and did have issues with logging data properly. Ive had to restore stock on the one I tried to flash due to issues so dont be buying something you think...
She's installed. Had my buddy helping me do the UPR catch can here in a moment. He's inspecting the motor lol
The car is down waiting for a new stock fuel pump assembly. We will be putting on a JMS BAP for now. In short, the DW400 had fuel pressure drops worse than the stock pump so after...
He will need a new device, all emissions compliant modifications and a new tune. Problem here is he may have to start over like a new customer would as without knowing the old device number we won't find the tune folder .
It boggles my mind why people sell these vehicles with a tune loaded...
You can email us at Lund with your VIN number and device serial number and we can make a stock file if you do not have one on the device to load to stock . Our tunes right now are fully compliant but many users vehicles are not street compliant so if the car does not have fully compliant items...
Hey man, I work for Lund . Noticed your issue and guess what ? My 21 is having the same issue with the pump. We saw more stable pressure with the stock pump and then the DW400 installed we say mid 30s at WOT. So the car is back in the garage until we can figure out what to do . The set up is a...
I will get some more photos here soon. The car is at the office at Lund Racing right now. We are adding the DW pump Monday due to seeing some fuel pressure concerns on the last pull we did . I did post a quick start up vide on my Facebook here ( it should be public) -...
Thank you Christy ! I appreciate it . We were just talking about you today and how you provided us feedback on the kit . Overall how many have recently and how easy of a install this kit was after finishing mine
Did you happen to add the Hi-Flo Billet PCV Fitting to the UPR can ?
I haven't looked in this thread enough to see but what catch can are you guys using . Can you provide a direct link ? We just installed the G3 kit today on my 21 and Im looking to add a oil catch can set up asap
Just to restate the first headline of this thread. It said " LUND will officially drop support & no longer offer any services for any SCT tuner "
It actually was not Lunds choice. It was SCT's choice to remove Lunds allowance to support their products
Stock pump is smaller. This will carry a bit further than stock and no you can add this DW400 without the blower. It wont need a tune specific for it nor a BAP
Why "overwork" a stock pump with a BAP when you can do the DW400. Its like giving a kit 30lbs of rock to carry up the stairs vs a...
