and yet the geniuses over at GM figured out how to keep their systems powered up during an upgrade. I turn off my Camaro, punch the "upgrade now" button and exit the car.f you leave the engine running (or do the upgrade on a suitably long journey) - then the Sync system will have all the time it needs to complete the upgrade.
Beyond belief? I can believe it.That Ford's method requires a running engine is stupid beyond belief. (and yes I own a Sync3 Mustang)
I’d love to know how to get back to the GT startup/shutdown screens and the blue colour scheme......he tells me that the GT theme is now working in his 3.0 update..
You have to revert back to 3.0 Cuild 18093 or 2.2 version. V3.0 19205 will not allow the Ford GT splash screen as of todayI’d love to know how to get back to the GT startup/shutdown screens and the blue colour scheme.
To keep your car from shutting down during the update and save the battery. Not much of an issue on my Mustang but it is a requirement on my Taurus. Why is the SYNC update requirement to have car idling (running) during the 60 minute update duration?
In 19205? Nope.is there the option to change wallpaper? i saw it on 3.2 on 2019 focus
It doesn't require it to be started, they are probably saying it now just to be safe because they got sick of people bricking their shit by doing something dumb like trying to run the update with the car off but radio still running like when you stop the engine but don't open the door yet. And I've never had an update take longer than maybe 10 minutes, this one took under 5.That Ford's method requires a running engine is stupid beyond belief. (and yes I own a Sync3 Mustang)
