I have a 2017 mustang GT PP and I am obviously looking at wheels. I learned BS and OS but I don't know the real world measurements on my car as to what fits.
I have GT350 style front carbon fenders and they are much wider than the factory GT fenders so, I know standard GT sizes will leave gap...
Funny, I was looking for the best deal this weekend.
Lethal performance has them for $427 out the door.
Beefcake has them for $450 out the door.
Only difference is beefcake let you get the shift ball with the coyote logo where lethal was either a white shift ball or black.
If your looking...
Signed up but still showing $475 in the cart
Also, I understand the site is still under construction but the other site allows you to choose polished or black shifter stick with coyote engraved vs barton. Also, you can choose a white or black shift ball.
Are those options still available?
So I recently diagnosed a bad rear wheel bearing and after researching I see this can be a common issue on lowered s550's.
My thought is that if I install camber arms and get the wheel as straight (flat contact patch) as possible, this may alleviate some of the pressure that is put on the hub...
Humm let's see:
Factory used PP1 for say $500 and 2 new tires so maybe $800 ish?
Vs
Aftermarket wheels...IN A DIFFERENT SIZE = New wheels and 4 new tires
Do the math if you are even worried about buying 2 new tires for those used wheels.
And remember, brembo reads to the front of the car...I put it on backwards on my drivers side.
Not a difficult fix but will require another decal, some more paint and wet sandpaper
You have to revert back to 3.0 Cuild 18093 or 2.2 version. V3.0 19205 will not allow the Ford GT splash screen as of today
I have version 2.2 from a guy on here but the 3.0 I was sent is 19205 so as of now my only option is to turn off automatic updates and use 2.2 until something changes or...
So i have been having issues with this update and still have not gotten back to where I was.
Have Sync 3 and updated to 3.0 (did not see the build id but it was an automatic update) and my display froze pretty much. I had a nav map that worked as in the arrow moved when my car moved but no...
see mine is super sensitive. No matter where I touch on the inside of the handle or how much skin gets on there it unlocks. Maybe the proximity sensor or something.
Might have a look at the antenna for the system which I believe is in the door and part of the handle. I have heard of these going bad and people replacing them so maybe that is what is going on.
I would look at this thread as well...
The air dams are there to help re-direct the bottom flow of air out and away from the underside of the car helping to reduce lift at high speeds, nothing to do with cooling and honestly not noticeable in a city driven car at reasonable speeds.
The air dams that help with brake cooling are...
You would probably need to get an aftermarket unit in your dash like the tesla style or something with an AV port or at least Aux Ports.
The Sync system is 100% integrated with the APIM and there are no Aux connections. Even if you were to identify a singular wire that supports AV there is...
The APIM most likely caches the file from the USB and then once Cached it installs.
Most computers and game consoles do this. Wait 30 minutes for 8GB download and then wait 10 more minutes for the install of that download.
2017 here and I had an issue with the display acting up after the update.
After finally getting FORSCAN to connect (had to uninstall BT drivers then reinstall them) I was able to revert the APIM 7D0-02-01 back to the Mustang GT default startup (running horse). I had heard with 3.0 that Ford...
