New stage one, gen5 whipple on gen 2 mustang install help

Man this instructions must be out of date. Question
Step 83. No fuel rail adapters on the parts list or included. Seems to be a newly designed fuel rail where the fuel adapter goes right in the ds rail and the second port is plugged.
Step 88. Here's my question. No shims listed on the parts sheet and non where found. Is this step omitted too? If not can I just get some washers from home depot or Lowes, etc?
Sucks that it's Sunday and memorial day tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

I think I remember in mine that the shims were in the same box as the spark plugs
