Did a search didn’t come up with a sure-fire answer, my car is a 17 GT / PP Brembo’s the car is a street car, stock pads are horrible with brake dust, is there a replacement pad that has comparable performance but less brake dust?

I second the Z26, wish I had put those on my Mustang PP, I used them on my Camaro now and it's night and day with the dust. Brembo's are way easy to change the pads.

I am in the same boat but have a question. Do you suggest change both pads (front and rear)?

I'm running the Z26 brake pads along with their drilled and slotted rotors and they work great! Way less dust than the stock pads. I picked up a complete package on amazon - Front & rear drilled and slotted rotors and brake pads for $311. I just checked the price right now and looks like it went up to $475.:frown:

I did the Brembo upgrade for the front with the Z26 pads. Left the rear stock pads in place since there is no difference in rear brakes between non PP and PP cars. No issues with brake dust. I'll replace the rears with Z26 pads once they wear out. But that will probably be awhile.

Thanks guys, Z26 pads it is! I won’t do the rotors for awhile I’ve only got 1800 miles on the car, lol. But the pads gotta go.

The OEM PP pads are dusty, expensive, noisy (with age), and they don't perform much better if at all versus less dusty, cheaper, and quieter options, even on the track. I use Hawk HPS 5.0s and they have held up great on the track and on the street.

I just done the change to Z23's. No squealing way less dust. I can't tell that much of a difference in performance.

I will get a set of these pads as well and install them before the car comes out of winter storage. The car will be off the road in a month so no point doing it now. I was going to keep driving until they wore down but I'm getting really tired of all that brake dust. Would you say the Z23's produce the same amount of dust as the OEM rear pads? Is there an advantage to replacing all 4 sets?

Way less dust, no squealing. As far as going all the way around, I did. As far as I know, the rear OEM are a different compound than the front PP brakes
