New old tires?

That color was only for 2020 and I LOVED it.
My finances weren't ready till recently.
Found this 2020 used in Detroit Michigan at a Ford dealership.
2900 miles on the clock.
Gold Certified Pre-owned with a 7 year 100k power train warranty.
Only one for sale in the country!
I bought it sight unseen and had it shipped down to central Texas.
It spent a few days in Chicago thanks to some winter storm up there.
But after about a week it showed up, covered in salt and muck.
I wanted a base, 301A, auto, turns out I like the black package, helps tone down the GREEN!
Second day I had it I looked in the trunk, a big box of Katskin leather seat covers, about a grand's worth.
I guess the previous owner meant to have them installed, and I told my sales girl, and she was a bit surprised.
No one had even looked I guess. Ha!
I'll sell them and put that money towards my Apex wheels.

I would absolutely pass and get some cheaper NEW tires, like Firestones or Continentals, or find some recent takeoffs here on the forum classifieds from someone who just got a car and wants to uograde to wider wheels.

With tires that old they’re borderline IF you are absolutely certain they were stored properly. So do you know how these were actually stored over the last 6 years?

When Paul Walker died, the 9 year old tires were listed as a cause. I assume you want Michellin summer tires because they grip, well 6 year old tires you can throw that out the window.

Yeah, they'll go on the front.
I found some newer used PSS's for the rear with 9/32's. So practically new.
In a 285/40/19 they should have plenty of grip.
Plus they're over 11 inches wide in that model and size.
I had them on my 05, but on a 9.5 inch rim, which wasn't optimal.
They should do much better on a 10 inch.

I (personally) wouldn’t do it unless they were being used for burnouts right after installing.

My safety is worth waaaaay more than the cost of a set of tires.

Since (surprisingly) there's no consensus from government or industry sources, if your tire has plenty of tread left but is nearing the 5 year mark, get it inspected for signs of aging.
