Well, dang. I've needed new rear tires for about a month now, with over 19K miles and 2 summers of Sport+ mode driving they were pretty much just well abraded slicks, down to the wear bars. I was holding out though, knowing that my 350 will be here soon (next month).
Unfortunately, I hit a nail on the way home last Thursday. Was faced with a completely flat left rear tire Friday morning. Filled it with my compressor and took the car to a local tire shop. They refused to patch it due to the tread wear, and they didn't have P-Zeros in stock. Tried another shop with the same result before giving up and ordering a set of rear P-Zeros from Tire Rack.
Got them installed today, so it's all good. Kinda chaps my butt to put ~ $580 into a car that I'm trading in 22 days, but it was the right thing to do. Went ahead and had them do an oil change while they were at it. It's been a great car and it's only right to take care of it and give it a good send off. I certainly got my moneys worth out of those tires.
