i do not think I would sweat a reman. They probably get better attention than the new ones....
I'll keep this in mind. Thanks.

Any ideas for an excuse to leave work early so I can go pick it up?

Got the car back yesterday afternoon with no issues. The very first thing I noticed when I got in the car was the distinct smell of gear oil. It seems to have gone away pretty quick because that smell is not something you can get used to. It was probably on the tech that pulled my car around. Fortunately they had the seat and floor covers in place.

Second thing I noticed was the difference in feel and responsiveness compared to the Fusion loaner. It was only a few days, but I sure did miss this car! It's super cold here now and I did lose the rear end pulling out of the dealership! hah!

Anyway, no sign of the whining from before. I put about 25 miles on it this morning without the radio on and minimal use of the heater blower. Hopefully it stays good.

Thanks for all the feedback on this!

It's a shame you can't use any dealership for work under a service plan.
