Hi all, you've probably seen this a lot before but I'm at my wits end here.

Currently, having issue shifting into 2nd gear in high RPM (>4k or so). I followed most of the steps recommended in the forums such as switching to an MGW and I even got it diagnosed twice, once at a performance shop and the other at the dealer. I've included the logs below.

They say it was a synchro issue and it seems they've replaced a lot of the component but the issue remains.

Hoping to get an idea what to do next. Considering the steeda transmission mount bushing and ceratec next. Thank you all for your help.

Take as much flex out of the drivetrain as possible (add a transmission mount or bushing and polyurethane motor mounts) to see If thet helps. Pump your clutch pedal 500-1000 times to see if it releases any trapped air bubbles back into the master cylinder reservoir.

Try swapping the tranny fluid to BG Synrco Shift II, lots of good reviews from people saying it helped some of their shift issues. Relatively inexpensive possible fix/help.

Make sure the MGW and or Barton shifter has been adjusted correctly or it wont really shift right.
Other than the reverse lock out, which isn't relevant to the 6 forward gears by design, what "adjustments" can be made on an MGW shifter connected to an MT-82? Thanks in advance.

Thank you, I'll go ahead and try the mounts and report back to see if that fixed the issue.

Yeah, I've already adjusted the reverse lockout a few times to see if that would change it at all. It shifts great when the car isn't moving but it just won't go in 2nd when it is.

Personally I think they need to just replace the unit, but it's going to be close to impossible to get them to do it. Maybe just trade in? Lol

Actually if that pin is adjusted wrong it will be very difficult to shift into first or second, as well as being hard to go in reverse
