Hello all,

New member here, I picked up my 2018 Ecoboost back in June. Sometimes it seems to have a pretty good vibration during shutdown, is this something that is normal among 4cyls? I don’t think It’s bad enough enough to warrant a dealer visit unless I’m the only one seemingly with this issue. Also I only run 93.

anyways, here is my ride and thanks for the help.

Welcome to M6G. I got my EB this past April and have since put 9200 miles on, with no issues. What do you mean by "during shutdown"? Turning the engine off? I have never noticed any vibrations. Might be A/C clutch. I pay closer attention when I take it out tomorrow.

Nice ride!

Thanks! yes, When the engine turns off it seems to vibrate a bit and sounds rather clunky at times. Maybe I’m just crazy. Idk.

Otherwise it starts and runs perfectly fine. It just seems funny to me when it turns off.

The car is fine, stop trying to find something wrong with it and drive the piss out of it.

I also have a 2018 Ecoboost and experience the same thing. Not a bad vibration but it is there. Seems odd but never really thought it was a real issue
