New headers and hood

I got my LTH catted headers from beefcake today and my new hood installed last week. I’m more excited about the headers and hopefully power as soon as I can get them installed. I have put headers on my old foxbodys and lightning and even my s10 but these seem like a different beast so I will sub them out. I have a appointment for the 20th of April unless I can find someone before that (anybody within two hours of Charlotte no want a job?)Anyways here are some pictures.

Out of curiosity, I'm assuming the hood is a Cervinis? How long did it take you to get the hood? I ordered mine on February 18th and haven't heard a peep since the, thank you for your purchase. Not complaining one bit given the "covid shipping" rules but thought I'd ask.

Took 2-3 weeks to get the hood(ordered from steeda) Ordered headers Friday and got them today

Fun fact. I ordered the GT500 hood for my GT350. Last year. December.

It took 10 weeks to ship (almost double their estimated ship time). It arrived damaged.

They said they would get a hood out to be in two weeks. Three weeks later they told me it would ship on that Friday.

It’s been two weeks since then. They told me they would get back to me last Wednesday and haven’t responded.

Fifteen weeks. Two grand. No product. Cervinis sucks.

Cervinis has terrible

Fun fact. I ordered the GT500 hood for my GT350. Last year. December.

It took 10 weeks to ship (almost double their estimated ship time). It arrived damaged.

They said they would get a hood out to be in two weeks. Three weeks later they told me it would ship on that Friday.

It’s been two weeks since then. They told me they would get back to me last Wednesday and haven’t responded.

Fifteen weeks. Two grand. No product. Cervinis sucks.

Cervinis Customer service terrible, Run!! They sent me the wrong hood. After arguing for three days that the hood was not molded right and just will not fit, (My Body shop manager told me and showed me) I paid for the return shipping myself back to Cervinis, for the Cervinis Manager said my body shop didn't know how to install a hood, Right just what I thought, this Cervinis Manager didn't have a clue what the hell he was talking about. I ordered and installed a MP Aluminum GT350 hood without any issues. Cervinis will never get my business again. Good luck

Man....sorry to hear that. I'm going on week 6 and there has been no communication at all. Just trying to keep it out of site out of mind until I get an official email stating it has shipped. Little frustrating though.

They say no refunds for painted products but at this time I feel it’s unreasonable and I think I’m gonna try for a refund.

All I can say is the Manager of Customer service doesn't have a clue what the hell he is doing and will most likely say it is your fault, or your body shop with over 30 years building, repairing cars doesn't know how to install a hood. Please keep the Forum Updated. Everyone needs to know when a Manufacture or shop doesn't back up their products quality. Drake Did the same thing also to me last year when I bought a Rear Deck Panel which didn't even come close to fitting, Defective.
**Remember, "ALL" of these car forums have company Trolls which argue for the companies to make them sound great, when in actuality, Some, very few I hope, are crap. Good Luck
