They're adding more all the time, maybe why link is a bit dodgy. Calibration kits now on there starting from ÂŁ778.80 and supercharger for a smudge under ÂŁ10k

Good spot - so they are.

Interesting prices! As you say, starting at ÂŁ778.

CJPP do the US version for $509. That's the "stage 1" calibration and the high flow air filter.

Stage 2 - with the CAI, is $727 vs ÂŁ1200 from Ford UK.

Actually not that bad to be fair.

If I can strike a good deal on my car insurance, then this may well be my first mod next year.

"Ford Performance high-grade stainless steel exhaust systems manufactured by Borla. Offered in road-legal and track-only variants, and available with chrome or high-gloss black tailpipes, for the Ford Mustang 2.3-litre EcoBoost and 5.0-litre V8 models"

Also, few new goodies on https://fordlifestylecollection.com/en/collections/new-in-shop (great if you're struggling for xmas present ideas!)

What I should have said was, the four GT Performance related packages are not permitted on public roads, why ?

Maybe not been approved for emissions? Yet.

looks like its just all the parts the states had since launch even the strut brace comes with the k brace too even though we already have it fitted by factory. interestinly they're doing twin tip exhausts but no double rear valance for them to actually fit through.

Any ideas how much extra power is available from the packs? Doesn't say on the Ford website

Edit: Just found this on the Ford USA site, assume we'll get similar numbers here
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-9603-M8

Most interesting is the low down torque gain, that's would be the main benefit for me

I’m afraid I can’t see Ford selling many if they aren’t for road use, how many owners bought their Mustang purely for track use?

Very few I suspect. It’s not a natural track car.

I’d have been interested in the Performance packs but not if I can’t drive my car on the road. That’s just stupid. Subaru have been doing the PPP for years and it’s road legal.

I’ll be going SCT/Lund if they don’t get it homologated

I think as an OEM they’re not allowed to sell an official mod for road use without type approval. Just means they’re like any other mod you might fit; not Ford’s responsibility if it all goes wrong. Bit daft really as part of the attraction is to have an official mod, warranty intact etc. But it would cost them to do it, for a limited market.

at those prices they're not worth it anyway unless you really really really want to keep your warranty
