  1. It's going :(

Hahaha homophobe away GR11M .. I've had 2 (will be 3) mini's, 2 Boxsters, a TT and couldn't give a rats ass what anyone else thinks :D I thankfully still have hair, albeit mostly grey but will be sure to park it outside the £10 snip and clip when I need the old quiff trimmed ;)
  2. It's going :(

I agree, I don't really think there's any need for Bluetooth either - or the need for the wee remote you get that will end up rattling round in one of the cup holders. A switch on the dash somewhere would have been fine with me .. :) Irrespective of how it's switched on/off though .. it does...
  3. It's going :(

I test drove a JCW (no exhaust) and a Challenge 210. Finance was better on the JCW and the dealer did me a cracking deal on the Pro Exhaust :D I have done some digging into remaps, and there doesn't appear to be anywhere near Aberdeen that will do it (Glasgow) so I may try the Evolve option...
  4. It's going :(

Funny you say adventure .. I've picked up an almost new JCW mini with the Bluetooth exhaust. This is my 3rd JCW, and I've always found them fun to drive. It's perfect for my current needs, although I wonder what I'll be eye-ing up in 9 months time :headbonk:
  5. It's going :(

Following on from my thread last week about lots of people selling up (and I can't say at that point I was 100% thinking about it), I've gone and traded in the Mustang. I love the car, but I'm a serial car changer and there's always something else out there I want to try. I wish I could say...
  6. A lot of people selling up ..

It's not as if I didn't know what the 5.0 would cost me, I'm an economist so quite happy I worked out the affordability before I bought it :D However, I have around 8K equity in the car, and could probably be driving around in a JCW or Golf GTi for pretty much the same monthly outlay, having...
  7. A lot of people selling up ..

I check in here most days, and the other forums, and I'm a member of most of the Mustang groups on facebook, and there appears to be more and more people selling their lovely Mustangs .. Mostly 15/16 plates, for either lack of use, or issues Ford aren't resolving. It doesn't appear to...
  8. 2016 GT for sale

Good luck with the sale, lovely colour .. hope you replace it with something as interesting :D
  9. Has Ford priced itself out of the market with the 2019?

Well they have priced it out of my market anyway. Could I afford on PCP a new Mustang, yes I guess I could, but like most people I suspect I have an inner upper limit on what I'm willing to pay on what really is, to me, a driveway ornament lol .. £300-£400 a month with a reasonable deposit...
  10. RTR wheels.

I'd be interested to find out a) how they look if you get them on your car and b) approx. cost (PM if you want) as I'm going to need new rear boots soon and might just splash out for some new wheels, bin the spacers but keep the flush look .. :D
  11. Buying Used in the UK

I was offered £28.5k as a trade against a car last week (we may be moving house and the GT, even with an average of @21 mpg is going to cost too much in fuel - and I don't really want to rack up the miles on a nice car). The other car was retailing for £19,990 from a main dealer.
  12. powerflow exhausts?

I've a custom powerflow axle back. It was a little cheaper than a Roush system and the guys I know up here have a good reputation .. It did take 2 attempts to get it how I wanted it. The first attempt sounded really nice, deep and loud but just too loud in that 1,800-2,000 cruising spot...
  13. Dreamscience iMap review

Hmmm sounds as though you're not quite 100% sold on it I've been considering the iMap myself as a simple solution as I can't be bothered going down the custom tune route (although I know the end product would be 'better'). Can I ask, if you try not to think about how it has affected your...
  14. V Power or regular unleaded?

I agree, the next 'mod' for me is some decent rubber. I guess I've been waiting for some (relatively) better weather up here as the Mustang will likely be as useless in snow on decent summer performance rubber as it is on the PZero's.
  15. V Power or regular unleaded?

Back on topic - I used V-power but that might be more of a habit than any actual science. I'm used to running Scoobies and remapped turbo cars, so a minimum of 98 RON, especially with the Japanese stuff. I do think the Mustang runs a bit smoother on V-power, and lets face it when it's only...
  16. V Power or regular unleaded?

Myweepony, you're not joking about the tight squeeze. My first 100 metres in a Mustang was attempting to drive out of the garage in Inverness with about 2 inches space each side, all lined with new Fords. I took the train up from Aberdeen with my Dad, who had assumed I was heading to pick up...
  17. £50 off iMap

Gibbo205 - as usual a total wealth of information, and I'm sure we all appreciate the time taken to write all this stuff down for the UK audience, even when you're no longer a Mustang owner :D
  18. £50 off iMap

I know a lot of you guys don't rate the Dreamscience iMap but just thought in case anyone doesn't want a custom tune, and wants something more plug and play, if you use the code imap2018 there's £50 off their stratagem iMap. I think that's cheaper than buying an SCT x4 from Steeda, and by all...
  19. Last Ditch Attempt to sell those MY15-17's!

Loving the platinum white .. I'd be all over it with a few black or carbon accents .. mirrors, trim round the windows, maybe a wee spoiler and black/titanium alloys. I was going to go that way with my S4 :D
  20. '18MY Road Trip!

I like the magnetic/black one .. silver wheels are criminal, I think they may have employed VW/Audi designers for those ;) Still don't think it's worth my 2016 + about 15K, but at least I can still get a manual 5.0 v8 in a few years time if I want to change
