It was more a question than a statement, but I left the question mark off!

It's this bit on your V5 but I think it (the 75dB figure) is an unenforced Europe wide rule at the moment. MoT is currently something like "typical of the type of vehicle" and noise testing is fraught with problems without very strict controls. It's there though; be nice to know what for.
You don’t need to worry about that. Most new cars are illegal now anyway.
MOT states the headlights should produce no more than 2000 lumens per side at 5000k or warmer. Most HID lights are 3000 lumen or more and colder than 5000k hence the blue tinge.

Performance Pack 2 (aka Cold Air Intake Calibration Kit) fitted
plus Ford Performance air filter (Airaid non oiled) and Ford Performance radiator cover

Love it ! Drives like stock but just with whole lot more oomph.
The car should come from the factory like this.
Exhaust is different in a good way, sounds deeper and there are few pops and burbles now.
Only downside (if its downside) is that the Ford Performance oil separator does not fit without fouling the throttle body.

Nice work! So are you running the stock exhaust then?

I think the most impressive things about the packs is the torque gain. Why did you go Pp2 and not one off the others? Any concerns about then not being homologated for road use?

PP2 over the PPI simply for the small uplift over the PP1 and the CAI
Didnt go for the PP3 simply because i dont rev the nuts off
spent a lot of time on the US side of the forum reading the 4000+ posts on the Power pack thread and the MotoIQ article

and no :-)

I’m putting my pp3 hardware on next week as I have a couple of days off work. Going with the aed tune as it produces much more power than the Ford pp3 tune. Headers going no on later in the year. Will post the differences once i tax the car.

Any ideas which dealers you'd trust to do a PP2 supply and fit? And are there any labour prices handy? Cheers

Haynes Maidstone (Kent Mustang) did mine
fitting was ÂŁ112
Chose them over my local dealer because they have a mustang team
and they have now experience of fitting one and using the procal software
mine was apparently the first fitted in europe !

I hate to sound like a cheap ass, but when it comes to my mod budget - that's what I am at the moment...

I find it staggering that this PP2 kit is available in the US for ~$700 (little over ÂŁ500) - that's ignoring shipping obviously, yet in the UK that's going to cost you over double for the same thing, yea the warranty is good but worth it for double the cost?

Does anyone know if/what the difference is between the UK/US versions of this calibration kit?

If not, I will get in touch with Hendy Performance & ask the question...
