With all the work done to get this V8-GT version of the PMAS CAI fully functional w/o bugs, it may be premature to ask but I will...

Is there a plan for a version to fit the 2015 V6?
Or does the V6 require so much less air volume that minimal volume differences between different brands of V6 CAI's are not significant?

LOL...between tuning and testing with the HP tuners nGauge we ran out of time to test the CAI. I am going to go back and test several CAIs. I also plan to lock down timing so it does not effect power output, and we see the true gain from the CAI, not simply a gain from increased timing which can easily happen the way the 15s use the knock sensor.
It will be very interesting to see another dyno result post. Especially in light of some recent posts by Steeda about their intake.

I keep going back to PMAS post near the beginning of this thread where he shows a 20 hp gain over stock, where the car tested baseline at 373 hp and 393 with this intake.

Steeda recently posted a 22 hp gain with their intake that has a restrictor WITHOUT a tune (CAI only).
Steeda's baseline vehicle tested a lot higher however. Baseline was 392 hp and Steeda CAI with restrictor and no tune was 414. But regardless of differing baselines Steeda still shows a 22 hp increase over stock with their intake. That actually beats the PMAS CAI which has it's own MAF.

I would think the PMAS intake with MAF designed for it's larger intake would beat the Steeda which has a restrictor and uses OEM MAF.

I'm still on the fence about a CAI because I would like to get one without a tune.... for now, but I would like to choose one that has the most bang for buck. Will be watching this thread to see if anyone comes up with additional dyno results on the PMAS CAI.

Amazes me that PMAS even bothered to spend money to make a product and then not even do a decent job marketing to the forums. Thread has essentially been dead, outside of hoping a independent avenue would run some tests. Could be the best CAI out of the bunch for the S550, but who the hell would ever know. Smh

Im still waiting...hopeing...any sort of new informtion would do.

I'd still like to hear a little more about the incedible gains this CAI could give with a tune as was mentioned earlier in this thread!!!

Not much of an update but just a video I found on youtube from someone that installed the PMAS intake.

That would be me, and the video is linked earlier in this thread...
Cool, I thought I saw it somewhere before. Just too many pages to flip thru on this thread to find it. How's the intake doing? Have you installed a tune on it to see if it will make more gains? Are the gains noticeable from just the intake alone?

I also have yet to buy anything besides my K&N drop in and airaid CAI elbow until there is some better testing, numbers, and opinions of the PMAS CAI. I have since switched my car from SCT to HP Tuners though.

No dyno, no tune, ran the intake for about 5000 miles. Some gain seat of pants but it's not like adding FI.

Not running the intake any more?
Glad there is still life in this thread. I'm beginning to get the urge to do intake/tune on my car now that I'm past 10k miles.
