I have searched the Forum and have not seen anyone reporting this new clutch spring design. I went to replace my clutch spring today with the Steeda spring.

I was surprised to find the two piece spring instead of one heavy spring. We were able to remove it with out using vice scripts. I will attach a photo of the spring assembly. The top and bottom plastic pieces are the same as shown in most pictures I find on the forum.

Has anyone else see this on their cars. I received my car on 4/7/16

Thanks for the welcome, however after reviewing all 10 pages of the thread you posted, I still find any reference to the two piece spring. Did I miss it. The only photo' and videos I have seem that I could search for shows a one piece heavy spring. Obviously from reading above this has been changed for sometime. Are people having the same problem with these
As they ere with the single spring. I have only driven my car for about 20 miles after getting it ship here. It spent part of it,s time at a ford dealer tracking down a problem with the fuel pump wiring.

I have to say the GT350 OEM spring feels a lot better than the OEM one on my 14 GT500 and 15 GT. Not having any issues with it so far. I had the Steeda on my GT and don't feel the need to make the swap.

I still like the single Steeda feel the best.

I found the OEM spring to feel - well vague. The Steeda replacement was a noticeable improvement with no significant change to force needed to depress the clutch.

I honestly pulled mine on my 15 GT and think it feels best gone/no spring at all. Will do the same to my 350 day it arrives.

There are a couple of threads with details. The ones below interesting.

The search feature on here can be challenging. Takes some playing with.

Thanks Caballus, that's what you get when get when you look at the pictures and not he text. But you are right the threads do seem to be mixed and hard to search. I will try to get better at it.

I decided to wait and try the clutch.
I made the adjustment and find it fine,
also it shifts really fast when required :)

I took the spring out of my Ecoboost and it was much better.

Then I ordered the Steeda spring before I got the 350 and installed it an hour after I got the car.

It's simply fantastic.

I wouldn't say there's anything "wrong" with the Gt350 dual spring setup. But, the springs do influence the clutch action and feel quite a bit, and creates some vagueness in feeling where the clutch engages. I left it stock for several months to give it a try, but ultimately decided that it masked clutch engagement too much and creates dead spots. So I swapped to the Steeda spring which I find is much, much better. Consistent, linear, easy to engage the clutch and no dead spots. Best sub $20 mod for the car so far. Since I drive in traffic and urban areas quite a bit I decided to stick with a spring to provide a little relief on effort.
