If you want some help, you need to supply more information. What type of flywheel? Never answered that question.
"going into gear" means many things. Neutral to 1st or reverse? If your clutch is dragging, this will cause many problems.
And, just driving it 1,000 miles doesn't mean the clutch line is properly bled. To determine the issues, you need to go methodically through every possible problem thoroughly, eliminating that one concern before moving to another. This is the correct way to troubleshoot.

You cannot assume anything. Most issues are simple, but don't assume the line is properly bled.

Why not take it back to the shop that did the install and get their feedback? It sounds to me that possibly the clutch is not fully disengaging.
