Few days ago I'm driving and when I go to shift into 4th my clutch pedal sinks to the floor, I smell burnt clutch, and the pedal stays on the floor. I pull slow down and slip it into 3rd then limp home.
I take the car to a reputable trans shop in town and they tell me to go ahead and order a new clutch and we'll go from there. So I ordered a Spec stage 3 clutch and new hydraulic throwout bearing. When I dropped off the new parts they tell me if there's any issues with the pilot bearing and flywheel they'll go ahead and replace them.
I picked the car up the next day and everything seemed fine. The clutch was significantly more grabby but that was to be expected. But when I would hit a bump I could hear and feel what seems like my clutch shuddering. So I took the car to a parking lot and found that when I turn full lock right that the car shudders and feels like something is rubbing my clutch.
I dropped the car back at the shop and had someone drive it and they could feel it as well. Tomorrow they are going to try and figure out the issue but I just wanted to see if anyone here had any clue what it could be?
