So last one is gone and dusted.

Decided to go for a bolder spec and tick off ‘owning a convertible’ off my list too.

I already have two questions:

Didnt all facelift models come with Rev Matching?!! Its not in the menus anywhere.
Its also without B&O or Shaker so no subwoofer in the trunk, any suggestions on what aftermarket option to go for?

Nice !

Spacers, springs, taillights, some colour coding - what else has been done ? :like:

I ‘think’ rev matching came on the 19’s ? (But not totally sure)

You covered most of them🙂. Carbon shift knob, oil cooler upgrade.

car manufacture year says 2019 registered May 2019. I couldn’t find any details on facelift ones in UK that didn’t come with it.. hoping its a software glitch. Loved it in my last one

Please double check me on both issues, but I think triple yellow was an 18 only colour (for the facelifts), and rev match was a 19+ feature.

Series of bad luck continue…
Was driving around in Richmond where it suddenly cuts off gas and then only cranks but not start.
AA attended and fault found issue with fuel pump. Couldn’t fully reset fault on their laptop so had to flat tyre tow to house since garages were closed and earlier today towed to local ford dealer to see when they have availability to use their computers.. hopefully the pump itself is not faulty.

Less than 2 weeks after getting the car.

Even new cars have issues that's why we have warranty. Don't sweat it.

Must admit, never really hear of fuel pumps going on these. They even throw fuel pump voltage boosters on them and they still survive a while.

My first shout would be to check the ground beyond the obvious fuses etc.

Is it modified?

It’s just the hassle to wait for tow truck, available dates etc. Warranty only covers up to a set labour fee and tow fee as well.

With AA, We checked under the back seat voltage and it wasn’t getting enough. Bypassing the relays didn’t work either. The only time the car switched on was when he injected the easystart spray into the intake.

In terms of modifications, upgraded oil cooler, H-pipe lowered and spacers

I would start by checking the ground, I have read the pumps need a solid ground. Lots of issues where guys have upgraded pump with superchargers and thought their ground was good but it wasn't.

Buying mustangs used is Russian roulette. Not the dealers fault. You just don't know what's been done and what's been reversed.

Update: Dealer were saying 2/3 weeks wait until a diag appointment but ended up checking it yesterday. Lower pressure fuel pump seems to be the issue but they say they won’t know until they replace it. All grounds have been checked too. Liaising with parties involved to instruct the works and see if it resolves the issue.

For a change, lucky turn of events and picked up the car yesterday after completing the repair and changing the fuel pump. Doing research online apparently they could fail if you store the car with low fuel for long periods which I assume the last owner may have done during the winter months.
Big bill but dealership was very helpful in getting it sorted and all that matters now is the car is back and I can look to see if I should do the subwoofer or auto-blip installed first (or none)
