New 2021 GT500 Orders

Have you used Vroom before? I just recently sold a car to Shift and had an excellent experience. I am now in the process of trying to sell 2 more cars to Vroom and its been crickets ever since I uploaded all the requested documents a few days ago. I've called and emailed and all I get is "we are still processing your paperwork." The only reason I went with them is because they offered far more (several thousand) compared to the other car buyers but if this is how the experience is out of the gate, I'm a little worried how it may go further into the process after I mail them the titles along with them picking up my cars...! Most reviews are good but there are a few horror stories out there as well.

I'm in the initial stages. We will see.

I didn't go through with it but my credit union uses TrueCar. I requested a trade in price and a local dealer sent me a quote that was a bit higher than Vroom, Shift, and Carvana. This could be an option as well.

Same here. Mine was ordered on march 18. Original build week was may 15, then may 27, then June 7 with delivery of July 15. As of last week delivery date = NA. I guess that's what happens when you are from a POOR low priority state like maine. Does me no good to get a $ 100,000.00 car in October in Maine.

Looks like I will be spending my POOR maine money on a LC 500.

I’ve literally been on the waiting list since 2019 so pardon my lack of compassion. I’ve done my time.

My order was accepted in April and scheduled for early July production. I just checked on the tracking website and it now states estimated delivery date “unavailable”.

Anyone have any ideas?

I was told July 18 and the site tells me the same thing “not available”. I am assuming they don’t even want try and guess a date right now.

car is chassis #0984 , is it true under 1000 is looked at as being more valuable ?

Its 109 units more than me (00875) with a build date of mid April.

Most people say early in the 1st model yr (2020) and end of last year (2022) are the sought after in the decades to come. It's sure special to me though at 875 of 2021. I guess that's all that matters! Enjoy!!

I believe the plan was 3000 to 5000 units for 2021 MY, not sure they are going to make it.

At this point I am just helping the members with their VINs. I am afraid that Ford has made it impossible to do what I did last year. So that is not going to happen.

That only works with Retail (Customer) orders and not Stock (Dealer) orders, it is for USA orders only, it doesn't work for Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico or WDMO orders retail or stock.

Ok. Good to know. Sad part is, I personally feel that retail orders should have been made first. Actual customers who want one and ordered one. Unfortunately that isn't how it works. I ordered mine Jan 13th!
