I have a 2020 GT PP1 car. I’m about to have the Ford performance magnaride spring and bar set installed. I believe this will lower the car .75” all around. I would like to run 305’s at all 4 corners. I know the PP2 has a different wheel well. Is this needed to run a 305 up front with no rub lock to lock or can this be cured with a proper offset? Thanks guys!

Depending on your tolerance for poke, proper offset (~+25 effective) and extra camber (2 degrees +) are generally enough.

A common 305 square setup involves extended front studs, a 1 inch (25mm) slip on spacer up front, and 19x11 +50 offset wheels. This allows for a rotable setup.

If rotating isn’t important or you don’t want to do the studs, Apex Wheels for example has a +26 offset 19x11 for front and a +52 19x11 for rear. Going off of memory.

MRR M600 come in ET24 for the front if you don't want to do the whole spacer+stud thing.

spaz any 19x10.5/19x11 set ups that won’t require a spacer and camber? Or am I just dreaming and should go with a 295/315 and call it a day? My biggest concern is I don’t want to hit a bump and have the front cash into the fender and I’d like it not to rub lock to lock. I know the PP2 and probably the Mach1 have different wheel wells to prevent that. 🤷🏼‍♂️

you're dreaming. Camber will always be required. And what's the point of wider wheels/tires without the necessary camber to take advantage?

oh I don’t mind some, I just don’t want to have to do so much that the wear pattern is on inner 1/3

I've got a 2016 PP1 and run 305s on 11s (with camber). I rub on the inner fender liner a little at max lock, but that's it. The fenders are fine with the right camber/spacer/offset setup.

if you're just piddling around on public roads then simply run 19x10 with 285 and call it good. Even driving "irresponsibly" in north Georgia hills you can't exceed the capability of 10" wheels. Even with a death wish.

Thx Shogun, I’m not opposed to 285’s not a preference but definitely not opposed if I need to go that way.

2.7 camber currently (via camber plates) with a 19x11 ET52, a 25mm spacer on the front, and 305/30R19 tires. Less camber would still clear the fenders, but you'll want at least 2 degrees.

For the street tho I agree with Shogun32. 19x10 with a good 285 tire is all that you need. Square 11s look mean, but the actual grip difference between 285 and 305 tires is honestly not so significant or noticeable.

Shogun,

Had a buddy take a photo of his PP2 top down. I think I’m going to do a 285 or 295. That’s more poke than I want. Taking 20mm/.5 inches of width should fix that. Silly question does anyone have the part # for the PP2 wheel wells. I asked once and I think they were only 110.00 per side. As far as I can tell the belly pans are the same. That’s no bad to gains so extra clearance if you need it.

it'll pull the sidewall in but you see plenty of wheel in that picture.
19x10.5 ET24 4.3 6.2 PP2
19x11 ET24 4.55 6.4 what many people have (or ET27)

What Ford should have done on the PP2 was
19x10.5 ET30 4.1 6.4 avail ESR RF02, Curva C300

you should be able to go up to ET35 and 285 tire but may need a 3mm spacer for peace of mind or if the tire has a fat rim protector on it.

Just did a tire comparison:

295/35-19
315/35-19

Are equal to the 255/275/40-19 that came on the car. No reprogramming will be required.

So a 19x10.5 ET30 and 19x11 ET52 should be fine with no spacers.
