That ground you put on, is bypassing the Battery current sense:
I would remove it and charge the battery then let the car sit for 8 hours to relearn the battery change state.

I had the same issue about a year ago. Mine was related to a broken ground strap on the drivers inner fender underneath my air filter/box. Rule that if you can or already have.

I bought the wire tuck kit. If removing the ground off the post doesn't work then I am rewiring the whole engine compartment anyways. I wanted this cleared up before I started that project.

Have you tried disconnecting all your aftermarket power/grounds and see if the issue goes away? You could just disconnect the terminals and tape them up and drive around for a bit.

FWIW, I have three 1/0AWG power and two 1/0AWG grounds ran completely outside of the battery current sensors, and I have never had any issues. Not sure how that could cause problems like you're having.

Pulling the ground off the terminal didn't do anything. Going to pull the front fender liners out and check the grounds.

After that will be to neuter the car from all non-factory electronics power and ground. Shouldn't be too hard the way I have it setup.

Fenders pulled. Grounds look good. Going to go ahead and pull the wiring harness out and do the wire tuck to check all wiring under the hood.

Have u tried replacing the battery in your key fob? Also hold the button in longer
. if u press and release it too fast u can send the car into a weird mode where it does what ur describing...

O.k. time for an update.


So my Airide and my amps are hitting the battery as soon as the power is applied. This is causing a low voltage issue where the car doesn't want to start.

Sounds like u have too much load on the charging system, try getting a battery with higher cranking amps. Or better yet put all that shit on a dedicated battery, or install a sequencer, be it a switch or a timer so startup only hits the battery and charging system with the OEM equipment then 3 seconds later the other accessories you added kicks on.

I know the technology exists in pro audio not sure if someone makes that for a car.

But yo can do the same thing with a simple toggle switch, and a turbo timer on the accessories for the moments u forget to flip the switch off...
