Your gas is crazy cheap, imagine we have 1 gallon of 100 octane for 9 dollars today... And it's even higher in Germany.Save the money for gas.![]()

Yeah, at my dealer yesterday I noticed none of the new vehicles have window stickers. My sales guy said he's not looking forward to the challenges ahead. That's the one thing that might kill some of these ADM's as '22's hit the lots.
I’ve noticed that some dealers did drop as for some reason I obsessively check on a regular basis just to see inventory. One has dropped their ADM on Mach1’s from 10k to 5 (2 of them) and another has dropped a couple K.That's the one thing that might kill some of these ADM's as '22's hit the lots.
The price delta on a mach 1 is pretty small when you option them up similarly. An order of magnitude smaller than what you are talking about. The biggest difference being what kind of deal you can find.Just some food for thought. Unless you are a serious track day person or have more money than you know what to do with, you don't NEED a Mach I when a GT will deliver much the same excitement.
Now if you were talking about a late 70's Mach 1 then I'm down, all the way! But you ain't so I isn't! LOL
Agreed. However, in my neck of the woods Dealerships aren't offering DEALS on higher-end rides like that because they know that people that want them will pay for them. As an example; Mach 1 at the Ford Dealership down the street is in the Showroom. That is the ONLY one they have and it's been sitting there for a bit. No tire-kicker is going to be looking at something like that here. The price delta on a mach 1 is pretty small when you option them up similarly. Thing is, the price difference between GT PP1 and Mach 1 is pretty narrow (MSRP). Unless you don't want PP1 and Magneride, which I think is a must for the car to handle well on the curvy roads. There's lot of talk about track use, but you really want the car to handle well on the road in the first place, not be floaty or unsure etc. Lot of people mod their GT's suspension for this.Just some food for thought. I guess it depends on what you consider to be a narrow price difference, in my area, apples to apples as far as features, the loaded GT PP1, equipped with the things I wanted is about $8,000-$9,000 less than the Mach 1 (if I could even find one - there really only a handful).Thing is, the price difference between GT PP1 and Mach 1 is pretty narrow (MSRP). Yeah, I never took the C7 Stingray or the Grand Sport to the track, so I don't see it happening. I agree with you about the manual, I would definitely want the Mach 1 if I was going manual. If you are going to track, definitely Mach 1 because of the added coolers. If you want a manual transmission I'd also lean towards the Mach 1. If however you want an automatic and aren't going to track, I just don't see it for most folks. But if you want a cool car without exotic pricing (GT350 or GT500) I'd also go Mach 1.
Two must haves for me are non-Recaro seats and an automatic. I literally found maybe 2 anywhere close to me and I would be looking at $8,000-$10,000 more than the GT (assuming that the dealers were not marking those Mach 1's up).Let's compare them then with 2022 prices:
Mach 1 Premium in manual with no options = MSRP 57,290
GT Premium in manual with 401A (High), PP1, MagneRide, Active Exhaust = MSRP 54,690
The difference is $2600 in MSRP. Looks like it's even smaller difference than $3500 in 2021.
GT might have some discounts but Mach 1 can be had with -2% under invoice too from Granger. I deem those options necessary for me for spirited driving on the roads.
There's at least two dealers with below invoice pricing.
